Excerpt from - It's A Small Matter
Out of the silent dim light of the now late afternoon, we saw a group of shadows appear. Fifteen pairs of shiny wolf eyes. Not weres, actual wolves. Big ones. As they came in closer, I noticed they were all dark. Different shades of gray. Beautiful. They were accompanied by a man who entered from the trees. He stood with a commanding presence. His identity not hard to figure out. He had to be the werewolf pack alpha himself, Dennis Alvarez.
He was a huge man. Tall. Taller than my grandpa or close to it, and he’s 6’5”! Long black hair, hanging loose. Rough shaven. Maybe the backside of 30, but not much older. You could see the weight of being an alpha on his face, although he wore it well. He had beautiful golden eyes a woman could get lost in. Even in the dimming light, they shined. He wore black jeans and was barefoot. No shirt hid his six-pack or any other muscles that sculpted his firm chest. He had tribal band tattoos around both of his huge biceps. He looked like he could bench press a truck. He had a dark tan and features like an indian. Gorgeous man. I could see why he was alpha, a warrior for sure.
